CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION!

To help us crawl faster and provide more accurate data you can download the program above and run it. It will use your idle bandwidth to help us scan the armory for updates.

It is Windows only and you will need to have .NET Framework installed (you probably already do).

Once downloaded, just run the file and your good to go. It will start in your system tray. Double-click on the spider icon to restore it.

It will not automatically start when you start your computer but if you would like it to you may add it to your Start Menu > Start Up folder.

Thanks for your help!

FAQ

How do I start?
Simply download the program from the link above and run it. It's that easy!

I ran the program but nothing happened.
When the program starts it hides itself in your system tray. You can restore it by double clicking the spider icon.

Will this lag me or make my computer slower?
No, it should not. It simply uses your unused bandwidth to request pages from the Armory. However, I would not recommend it to dial up users.

The program doesn't start or I get an error.
The program will only run in Windows. Also, make sure you have .NET Framework installed.

How do I close it?
To close it, simply double click the spider tray icon then click quit.

What games does this crawl?
This version only crawls World of Warcraft armories.

It doesn't seem to be scanning any guilds or is bouncing around between many guilds.
The progress bar will only fill if it finds a valid guild with enough members. If you see it bouncing around between different guilds it just means it hasn't found one that is valid.

I selected a server but it is crawling other servers. Why?
Your server will be crawled every other guild. This ensures servers with no one running a crawler with that server selected will still receive updates.

Can I force it to crawl a certain guild?
No, not at this time.

Why does it say "Armory servers down."?
This is because sometimes when the armory servers are congested (or down for maintenance), it will temporarily block the crawler from the server. This is usually lifted after a few hours. Just leave the program running and it will resume once it gains access to the armory again.
